David is a New Zealand born Landscape Architect with nearly 10 years experience in New Zealand, New York City, London and Amsterdam.
He holds a Master in Landscape Architecture from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He has been a guest critic at Victoria University and has a number of years’ experience as an architectural and landscape tutor.

As an experienced landscape architect he is passionate about enhancing the landscapes around us for the people who live/work and play in them. He designs and approaches every assignment with a social, environmental and programmatic lens. This means putting people first, and promoting nature based solutions for new developments where possible; to create a future proof sustainable project.

His professional experience has seen him contribute to large international projects including a number of large masterplans for new housing developments across The Netherlands, Belgium and India and strategic masterplanning for a streetscape renewal in Mexico. His work in New York City, London and Amsterdam is varied in scale from university masterplans and public realm work, mixed-use med to high residential developments including private rooftop schemes, and public plazas, down to small scale private gardens. David has also worked extensively on a number of local private and public open space projects, from the conceptual stages through to the construction phase.

David brings to the team a passion for urban renewal which is sensitive of the history and identity of the place. He strongly believes that historic narratives have the power to create and inform great landscapes.
